Oof! It’s okay, if it makes you feel better, I did play and STILL missed it. What a flop.
I don't think I have. I mean, you can always TT back and celebrate it?
There's not a lot of things make me feel bad in this game. Like how some people will be nice if a villager gets in their way but I'll shove anyone out of my way. No mercy for slowpokes.

I was time travelling and accidentally landed on Merengue's birthday, and I was like, oh I'll go back and celebrate properly on the day (March 19).
Well, I guess I didn't play on March 19, and I've felt guilty for the last week!

Just looked it up, I haven't played in months so I've missed Groucho, Tabby, Lucky, Annalisa, Olivia, Gloria and Chops.
Since playing again I've TT'd in order to get items that I've missed, but I only celebrate a villager's birthday if it is their birthday for real, otherwise it wouldn't feel right.

I've missed them before while cycling out villagers (and for ones that aren't my personal favorites). I haven't missed any of the bdays for the 5 villagers that are permanent on my island though.

i miss birthdays all the time, even on days i don't time travel, i still forget to visit them 
like the times i've been to a villagers house on their birthday, were times i accidently walked into their house
then it would be awkward because i wouldnt have had a gift with me so i'd have to give them something random from my pockets

I miss villager birthdays sometimes and sometimes I've moved them out without ever celebrating their birthdays. For me the milestone is earning their photos. The birthday celebrations are boring because there's not much you can do and they are sad if you leave early.

I time travelled back and made sure to participate in it haha. I couldn't stand the idea especially since it's only once a year. I know they're just pixels on a screen but I didn't want to hurt Rudy's feelings!

I had some villagers whose birthday were coming around soon but I already got their photos so they got cycled out before their birthday occur in real time. I preferred celebrating their birthday in real time even though I time travel.
bro i genuinely hate the feeling of missing someone’s birthday and so i make an effort not to. even on the forums, i’m constantly wishing everyone a happy birthday and i guess that carried over into my game aha. even if it’s a villager that i don’t like, i always stop by on their birthday to give them a gift. :’)
No, I haven't since I've been playing daily so there really isn't a risk of missing one for me, lol. If I wasn't playing every day then the risk would definitely be there since I probably wouldn't remember their birthday and thus forget to actually play the game to celebrate it, lol.
