I ask this because last night I probably had the most disturbing dream of my entire life 0.o I was looking in the mirror and I noticed there was this layer of translucent white stuff on my eye, so I began to peel it off. When I peeled it off my whole eye was white, there was no pupil or iris or anything. I got scared so I started to move my eye around with my finger, I put too much pressure on one part of my eye and then a bump formed on the other side of my eye until it blew up, then I remember seeing my eye all bloody in the mirror and I tried to scream but nothing came out. Then I died. It was really weird and I get chills just thinking about it. It's so disgusting ughHHH ;W;

....always...most of them are nightmares. many times I wake up too suddenly and end up in sleep paralysis which is a really scary thing. I have problems sleeping at night. :/ ...Last night I had a nightmare I was tied to a chair by these creatures covered in eyes and they were drilling holes into my skin. yeah I woke up screaming and scratched up my skin until it started bleeding. ugh not cool....and I still have a headache.
I have weird dreams but most of them aren't that scary. I think they're more fun than anything, even if they are somewhat unsettling sometimes. I've actually started keeping a dream journal of sorts by typing some of the more interesting ones up on tumblr.

I suffer from nearly constant nightmares, so it's hard to really call them weird or disturbing.
I do still vividly remember one of my earliest nightmares. At this point in time, my mother (and me of course) had moved in with her boyfriend. I don't know how long we had been living there, but I didn't like him. I dreamed that my biological father (who I don't even know) came to visit and my mother's boyfriend shot him in the chest with a shotgun.
Got woken up by my mother because apparently I was making a lot of noise. I was 6 or 7 at the time.

....I had horrible dreams like that when I was a kid too....I don't even know why...I think maybe because...my family is messed up. but when I was 6 I had a dream I came home from school and everyone in my home was beheaded ...with their head on their laps. ...yeah I still have nightmares about that nightmare.
I'm sorry to hear that. I don't suffer from the nightmares themselves, but more from what caused them. Crappy past and whatnot. It was pretty terrible having nightmares so often, and I can still remember a lot of them. Maybe I'm just one of those people that will have them for their entire life, seeing as I'm still having the same kind of dreams...

okay im going to admit it guys I sleep with stuffed animals
3 to be exact. 2 beagles and 1 pig
I sleep with them always bc if I dont I have really awful vivid nightmares, and everytime I sleep again a new one just starts, and its sort of like im just watching it happen like a movie
like when I was younger my stuffed animal (only had one at that time) would roll off my bed a lot and id have the nightmares, and when id manage to wakeup from one id be too scared to reach over and pick up my stuffed animal, so if I slept again id get another nightmare, so I just didnt even bother
ive been sleeping with a stuffed animal as long as I can remember, so these dont happen often, but I remember some. one was where my mom was standing on a table and fell and died. another was where a maggot-like creature drilled into my brain and I was screaming bc it hurt I think?? and my brother was laughing at me and my mom told him to stop bc it was rude, and I know there were more but I was so young I forgot. my most recent ones have been grosser as ive learned more things, as in rape nightmares etc
I usually actively pick up on the fact its a nightmare, but I have to try really hard to wakeup and sometimes lose the thought its a nightmare and just continue with it
what if i was having a nightmare and tried to wake up but never did and I was trapped in the nightmare?? omfg spooky
edit** oh I just remembered this other one that was a little freaky where I was running around this weird place that def wasnt where I live but apparently was and this guy went around and killed a lot of people and I was hiding from him I think. it was like the third dream where my dad died?? he has a record for amount of times dead in a nightmare
but okay like a recurring thing in my dreams is this mansion thats apparently my "cousins house" like ive had 2 nightmares and 3 plain dreams that featured a mansion like that, and in this weird murder dream I mentioned I was apparently hiding in the mansion and looking for help there
idk why. maybe its ~~~symbolism~~~ ty for being artsy fartsy w/ me BRAIN

I don't know about disturbing, but I had a dream once...
I was laying in my bed, I open my eyes to find some Dark figure on top of me! I wasnt able to move at all, I was freaking out until he stabbed me in the chest! Then I woke, it scared the shiz out me!

i remember one wwas just me runnin an runnin an runnin.... i wwas in a field or someting but there wwas wwater and it felt strange

Yes, I have weird, disturbing, scary, gross dreams all the time and sometimes it's kinda disconcerting and makes me feel weird but i've learned to live with it I guess.
I have weird dreams almost every night. I can lucid dream sometimes although it's hard. Often in my dreams I know im dreaming and I can wake myself up really easy if it's going bad etc. when I figure out I'm dreaming I try and do magic out of my hands and fly but it takes so much concentration and sometimes I can't do it xD but I usually treat my dreams like a playground... because of this, if I have a particularly scary dream I often know it and just kill myself to wake up, morbid but yea
