Play-doh, paper, erasers, and if it counts, I used to suck on the little paper from cupcakes and then spit them out.
I swear this is probably my earliest memory.. Anyways, I remember once when I was in preschool (I was about 4) I took a little dollop of a thing of play-doh (it was about the size of a 50 cent coin) and so RIGHT when I put it in my mouth, we were called to go play outside, so I just let it sit in my mouth for about 5 minutes, and little did I know, Play-doh expands in your mouth. So by the time I was outside, it was the size of a normal sized tarantula. So, I was going to swallow it and whatever but it was too big, so I went over to one of the trash cans and spit it out. I also remember that this one kid saw me and was like "OMG SHE ATE AN ALIEN" because the play-doh I put in my mouth was neon green. I was a very strange kid...
I used to have a thing for putting small candies that were wrapped in my mouth to try and get the wrapper off with my tongue, and I accidentally swallowed the wrappers a couple of times. And I'm not sure what prompted me to do this but I remember I tried eating grass when I was younger, too.
In the eighth grade my friend found her old Easy Bake Oven at home and made cookies. There was this one giant red one and we were all really curious what it tasted like so we each ate a piece. Yeah, that genius apparently also found her childhood supply of Play-Doh and mistook it for the cookie batter.
What are we counting as non-edible because I'll sometimes get lazy enough with my starburst to just not peel them and eat them with the wrapper still on.
