Have you been decorating your island for Halloween yet?

*couGh* just played ACNH for 1 & 1/2 hours. i haven't played for that long in a while xd

Yeah basically what I was doing was at first i was participating in the bug-off (i finally got an artisanal bug cage, which ended up being a dresser, too. neat.)and then i went crazy shaking some trees near my airport entrance, lol. they were cedar trees and i swear they were blessed trees. i had to shake them several times but i got about 5 pinecones from each 0.0 and one of them gave me 4 in a row and i was like this is the holy frikin tree and then it didn't even give me sticks so lol. then i crafted some of the seasonal recipes... and then i started decorating a lil bit.... holy crap i think im loving this fall vibe

YEah, so, decorating for fall is really fun. im super hype to start with the spooky stuff, tmw im gonna make my house spooky (i didn't have time today rip. but i was inspired to because i got a skull doorplate from a balloon) and dress up my villagers and go insane with this freakin event aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

i built a farm too, but im too excited to wait for the other stuff haha. parts of my island are really ugly anyway and it could use a face lift (for example, a lot of it is covered in ugly-looking flowers that were fine in spring but are a total no-go for fall)

Yes. The flowers are a menace, and I will have to get rid of most of them.

I can't wait until Mushrooms appear. Mushroom furniture will make great outdoor decor.

I haven't yet. I did find the spot where I want the farming to happen.

I'll still have my main theme year round but I'll place pumpkins around and switch out any food items for new ones!

I initially had no plans but this furniture has gotten me excited and @JSS made a suggestion to me to decorate by Roscoe’s house with the new furniture, which really appealed to me (might need to make some adjustments to what’s currently by his house). It might not end up being a Halloween only design though. I’m going to make it fit in my overall theme somehow. I also might see if any of the furniture would fit in my creepy area (i don’t think it will, but doesn’t hurt to make it and test it out).

I definitely will be putting pumpkins in the fenced areas where some of my flowers currently are though

I changed my paths for fall but once the new items come out i'm sure I'll be redecorating. All the summery stuff on my beach needs to be replaced.

I've gotten a solid start on my island! I've got a harvest fest area I'll be filling with pumpkin furniture soon enough, but for now I've got lots of haybeds and mush and leaf furniture (I'm TTing). I'm planning on finally uploading my dream address once I've got the update and Halloween stuff placed! I also have some dirt patches that are prepared for pumpkins to be planted

We could move all villagers to the beach, and plant pumpkins everywhere, on every inch of the island!

I'm trying to decorate for fall and have a small farm area for growing pumpkins, but I have too many hybrids and that kind of limits my space. So if you need any hybrids, lmk

Definitely. I’ve had an empty farmland for a while now which is where I usually put turnips. I’ll be turning my park area into a graveyard for the whole month.

I just recently finished decorating my character house. I’m missing the pumpkin lantern on the video. Also have to figure out where to make a pumpkin patch before the update comes out.

I also know I want a pumpkin so where next to my nooks cranny.

When the update comes out, then sure. But for now I've been making Halloween costumes. I'm almost done with the bed sheet ghost costume, but I'm testing some things out first. If I can't get it the way I want, I'll just upload what I already have since it's pretty good so far. But I digress.

I'm waiting for the update. I'm personally not a big fan of messing around with custom patterns and I'd rather just wait for the official furniture. Hopefully we can start growing pumpkins and collecting recipes the day the update drops.
