Through my time travelling adventures I ran into Gracie so I took advantage of the jump a day forward then back to do her fashion checks. I passed all 4 checks and it's been about a month in the game and the Nook brothers didn't even tell me they were closing up shop. I have 2 characters on my game so I picked whichever had the easiest theme. I ended up doing flashy twice without realizing it, does this mean the game thinks it's 3 checks AND 4 checks at the same time. Will she show up for another check that I can pass or am I totally screwed?
Have you bought at least 100k of items from T.I.Y? I've read you only need to spend 70k for her to start showing up but a full 100k to get the upgrade.
It should have worked, or now she will come back, never heard of this happening, but she can inly come four times if you've already payed the 100k. You spend 70k to get her there 3 times, but for her to come the fourth and last time, you'll have needed to already pay 100k~She should also have said something like "This town is worthy, I will put my store here" Something like that. Hope this helps ^^;
All the items that you buy have to have a sold out sign. Like paper it doesn't count.
It's most likely the TTing and getting the challenged done quickly. Just buy all the furniture for abunch of days. Also sit at the tree to find out what day T.I.Y opened. In my first real town I couldn't find Gracie. Found it was I hadn't pass the 30 days.
I did the TT trick in my time travelling town. Just changed the clock back to 559am and left the date the same. Started and than waited for a new day to begin. Game saves and than you come back out of your house. Run and find Gracie.
My shop was built right away because I was buying everything that my real town needed. Also the shop was opened for over 2 months.
