I just started my town last night, and found out who was moving in today. Two of my starters are Rodeo and Hopper, who are the only two villagers on one side of town. Ruby is moving in on their side of town. This means that three out of six villagers have red eyes, all on their own side! I think this is awesome.

i had a really weird thing happen where the other week my brother had cj visit then the next day i had cj visit and the day after that my sister had cj visit
then literally 1 week later on the same days in the same order flick visited our islands
i don't know if that's normal but it was still pretty weird

I don’t know if it’s odd but at one point I was getting like a balloon coming in every minute and another time I kept getting oarfish.... but then another time I got trash like 3 times in a row but I don’t mind because of the reward for trash fishing

I guess this counts even though it partially involves City Folk...
In both my Wii and Wii U save files of City Folk, Peggy insisted on living there even though I didn't want her! (The Wii U file was supposed to be my brother's yet Peggy still showed up lol)
But then when I got my second copy of New Leaf, guess who showed up with my starters? That's right, Peggy! And now I actually like her, oops.
Also, I'm noticing a common occurrence of people not realizing they are in the New Leaf section...

my villagers keep placing yellow tulips in the same exact spot in my second town ethereal. happened three times yesterday and i have no logical explanation for this, since that town has many empty spaces for them to plant flowers in too
In my starter town I was waiting for father’s day for red carnations to breed white ones and I had only one pink carnation. One day I started my town up and found one white carnation standing next to pink one. I’m thinking maybe a villager planted it because it’s the same type of flower and I had beautiful town ordinance activated. However, to my knowledge villagers can’t plant hybrids. It wouldve made sense if it was red but I have no explanation for white which is only obtainable if you put red and white carnations close enough
