I have no idea what is going on in my town, but all of the sudden one of my villagers (probably my fabulous marshal) decided to wear one of the custom clothes by Someone from Anytown.. They're becoming such a big trendsetter that everyone else is doing the same, purchasing the same exact design and shirt. Whenever someone changes their shirt, the others do the same LOL. It's sort of funny actually, but man I will really miss seeing Marshal or Merengue in their original shirts :c

In my first NL town,the reggae tank started making the rounds.Half of my villagers were riding that fashion wave.That Able Sisters stuff is so ugly I've eliminated all of it in all of my towns.One thing I absolutely hate is when two villagers share the same outfit.Two villagers will be talking to each other then one does that flip thing and suddenly they're both wearing the same clothes and singing and dancing.Ughh!

It happens. Change all your patterns in Ables to hat designs. Then they won't wear them.

Oh, I didn't know you could do that! -facepalm- I've kept them with the factory-set clothing and omg they're driving me nuts because they're hideous and now most of my villagers are wearing it T_T

I found out that Hazel changed out of her adorable watermelon shirt into a yellow bird shirt from Someone today. Lionel and Boomer also are wearing shirts from them, to. I should really change the designs there. e.e

Something similar has happened in these terms. You see I have this villager name Curt and he wears a lot of pink shirts. Whenever he asks me to deliver clothes to other villagers(regardless of gender) the clothes turn out to be pink. As a result, the people of our village have decided to be more sensitive to Curt's "fabulousness". I find it very amusing that this manly cranky bear isn't afraid to show off his effeminate side.

Yeah, I swapped out the shirts to umbrellas when nearly every one of my villagers started wearing those patterns. -_-

Been trying to get Becky and Gwen to switch out to another shirt because they're both wearing the Rally Tee and it just looks ugly on them. Plus I had to watch out if either got into conversations to make sure they don't spread it around to the others. I swear these two are stubborn as they keep hanging the shirts I send through the mail as furniture.

You guys are talking about shirts like a virus! I think it's cute when villagers are such good friends with each other they wear the same shirt. It makes me feel better, that they have a life outside of their time with me. How cute!
T-Bone and Lolly tend to wear the same shirt. When Ankha lived here, her, Felicity, and Lolly started a cat gang and all swapped shirts. It's too much for my little heart to see such adorableness!

Oh man, I totally understand. I used to have Rodeo, the lazy bull, and he likes wearing his typical pink-black stripe shirt. He talked to a lot of my villagers, and guess what? Most of them had fabulous pink shirts the very next day! @_@

Am I the only one that doesn't care/mind what they wear? (I do miss Roscoe wearing his original shirt though) I think it's cute they have trends. Or that if they're close friends they wear the same shirt ^.^

But yes change the designs on able sister if you really don't like anytown designs lol

Mine haven't gotten into the Able designs, but I do have Tank and Graham both running around in jesters shirts. Graham got the shirt as a gift I delivered from another villager (Eunice or Bree, I don't remember), expressed his own fabulousness.... and then either shared it with Tank, or Tank just felt like following a trend.... and it doesn't look good on him!

You can talk to Isabelle and file a villager complaint...that should make them change out of the designs
