Smash Bros Has This Ever Happened To You?

Your online fighting someone and you use the C-Stick to try and use a Smash attack, only instead of doing a smash attack your character is doing their normal A move instead, you look at your controller and holding the C-Stick in the direction you want but your character isn't doing it. This screwed me over so many times and I'm wonder if this has happened with other people as well.

Try unplugging it and plugging it back in.

There's times where I'll press the grab button and do a jab attack instead. idek.

This has happened to me to.

It's because for some bizarre reason Smash takes the C-stick and Z buttons as macros for other button combos instead of as their own input. And somehow it only reads half the button shortcut assigned and does the wrong thing.
