when u plan to get rid of a villager then when they want to leave ur like, idk anymore

cuz julian was a random move in and i had planned to kick him out but now that he wants to leave im really torn on whether or not i should keep him??????? like julian why did u have to do this so late why couldnt u ask beforeUGHGHG i dont know what to do with this damn unicorn

Keep that damn unicorn.

But seriously, I suggest keeping him until you're ABSOLUTELY sure that you can let him go. Because if you regret it and want him back, you'd have to cycle through 16 villagers. Plus he's currently a tier one villager so he'd be expensive and hard to get back outside of chance. Though in the end, it's all up to you.

Also, the same is happening with Goose for me. I was planning on letting him go if he ever pings me so I can have more space to meet other villagers that are not necessarily my favorites, but I'm slowly warming up to him that I might keep him longer. Damn him and his buh-kay.

this happens to me all of the time, which is why my villagers stay for so long. i just say no until i'm sure i've done all i could do with them / get bored.

Yes, some starters I thought were instant outs I love Sparrow, Bangle, Gayle love them. Others too but a few examples.

Yeah.. I've had a lot of villagers I've really hated and thought GET OUT NOW but then, somehow, they start to grow on me and I end up keeping them around.

It happens all the time to me, which is why I have had so few villagers. Once you start talking to them, they just get harder to say goodbye to. I had a second cycle town, and I did fine as long as I was fast cycling villagers into boxes. But the minute I slowed down and interacted with the villagers.... Now I have two towns and no cycle, lol.

Happened to me with Papi when I started deciding on my dream villagers. I was really conflicted on which lazies to keep and kick out because I wanted to keep Beau and get Lucky but I didn't want too many lazies and my initial thought was to kick Papi out but I loved him a lot by then so I was really reluctant to let him move out whenever he asked. And then I saw that someone was desperately looking for him and I decided, "Why the heck not?" It kind've hurt to let him go but it makes me feel better that he went to a loving home rather than me just sending him into the void.

Lobo. I got him for free from a friend early on in the game's release. I thought I'd keep him until I found Wolfgang (one of my original GC villagers). Then a year later, he decides to move at last. I tell him to go and then I stupidly sat down under my tree and realised just how long I'd had him for.

...I talked him out of it.

reminds me of when i cycled in my main town and got Caroline (but she destroyed alot of hybrids and my path) i wanted her gone. But when she went to boxes I started crying but I let her go, know after the 16 cycle i decided to get her back since felicity left and the cycle was completed. I was reunited with the squirrel once again ;v;
