Has Anyone's Villagers Ever Done This?

So, I've had Tia in my town 3 days. She was in boxes moving in on the 29th.
While I was purchasing a hat from Crazy Redd, she pinged me.
I talked her and she asked to move. NO.
Why did she do this? I have all of my original five that haven't asked to move. Out of everyone Tia pings to move.
She's not moving! D:
Has anyone else experienced this?

This happened to me with Peanut but luckily I got her to stay :/ she'd only moved in a couple of days before too

I'm not exactly sure why it happens but it happens to me a lot. Roald the jock penguin used to ask me EVERYDAY without fail to move away .I Finally decided to let him go as it was more trouble then he was worth X_x. If I had to guess I would say it has something to do with how friendly you are with a villager, how much have you talked to Tia? Even if you're really good friends this may prompt her to move even more.

All my favorite villagers repeatedly ask to move, but the ones I don't care for of course NEVER do.

Like others have said: One point of the game is to befriend your villagers, so when you do the game accomplishes its goal, and therefore the villager can leave.
