I've tried it and can confirm that it works. Unfortunately for me, I only had one and the very next tree had a wasp. I'm sure you know how that ended for me.

I haven't tried that, but I HAVE confirmed that the party popper does not wake up Gulliver. I thought it would be hilarious... but no.

That's a neat trick, but as far as "escaping" goes, its not needed as catching them is 1 button away from being auto piloted.

I didn't know about this either, but I still would like to catch them the old fashioned way.

That's really neat! Catching with a net takes the same amount of effort though, so I probably won't ever do this. Gotta get those bells, you know? c:
