Has anyone tried the pool glitch?

Is terraforming the only way to get the glitch to work?? I could have sworn I saw a video on the AC subreddit the other day where someone had placed items on their dock and was able to glitch in to them. I'll see if I can find it

Edit: I found it! I was tricked. They put down patterns to make it look like a dock! Link

I haven’t tried this. I wish Nintendo would’ve actually added this in the game. It would be great to be able to interact with more items. I’d love to actually sit in the cypress bathtub, rather than performing a glitch. There are so many items in this game that would be more fun if we could actually use them. You can poop in a toilet and hear it flush, but you can’t ride in the teacup with villagers? I wonder if Nintendo would make more interactive items in the next main series Animal Crossing game?

this glitch honestly seems really cool! might try it out before nintendo inevitably patches it but i’m a bit hesitant since well,, it’s a glitch lol. would definitely love for the furniture to be more usable as well; it sucks that most items are just for decoration. :/
