from my time playing (and TTing a lot) I don't think I've ever had the latest villager to move in ask to move out. has anyone ever had this happen for a fact? maybe I just haven't really noticed that they can/do

This is more or less a "fact" around the forums because enough people have experienced this as well. The last villager, usually your 10th, is really stubborn about moving. Some people have reported that theirs have pinged but it seems to be very rare.

ahh I see, I was wondering if it was just me because I've never seen anyone have this problem but then again I've only just come back to the forums haha. thanks for confirming

A few weeks ago, Carmen moved into my town as the 10th villager and within 5 days she asked to move out before any other villager did. I don't TT often and I didn't TT at all during those 5 days between when she moved in and when she pinged to move out. I thought it was odd but I didn't think anything much of it, but it is possible from personal experience.

I've had one ping me to move the day they officially moved in. Lucky was my 10th villager months back and the day he officially moved in he asked to move out. It was really strange because I was like 20 minutes in after I had first started up my game that day. After that I haven't had any of my latest 10th villagers ping me that fast to move.
