Has anyone noticed Fang has odd eyes ?

I was so excited to get Fang in my town and his squint did bug me for a bit at first. Eventually I just got used to it.

His eyes are not as bad as some other animals who are perpetually looking upward! It's hard to talk to them since it looks like they're not making eye contact
