Has anyone moved a villager back in after you already kicked them off/let leave your island?

I have, I moved Olivia out because I didn't bond with her when she was first on my island. I ended up deciding she was the snooty cat villager I wanted on my island and ever since I moved her back in I've really loved having her.

i did this with ruby! i had to do some shuffling on my island earlier on in the game and was trying to get raymond to move in. she was the first villager to ask me if she could move away while i was tt'ing and i was running out of time (raymond came from a friend's island) so i let her go.

she's an amiibo though so i was able to invite her back. ofc all previous interactions are now lost bc this is ruby ver 1.5

Yup multiple times because I messed up a few villagers’ houses or they had the starter interior. I just reinvited Rudy for the second time recently.

Stitches was the first to ping when I was trying to get a plot open to go island hopping so I let him move but into my 2nd island haha..
Once I was done with island hopping, I let one of my “non-dreamies” move when pinged and brought him back!

Yes. Tank was my starter but I hated his house once I saw his real furniture house. I don't adopted from other players so every villager I have I found on an island, a camper, or was passed onto me via the void. He is back on my island forever now

Will be doing this with Felicity in a few days. I messed up her house really bad, so I'm kicking her with Clay. Will then bring her back via amiibo by kicking Julian out for her. Even the thought of parting with her for a few days makes me sad, but it has to be done.

I have, but only if I have their amiibo. Just did this with Bob, because I needed the plot. Also he was one of my first villagers, and I accidentally gave him a jester's outfit. lol! He just would not stop wearing it, plus his house was a mess.

I let go of Audie twice. Honestly, she's just giving me a lot of headaches especially when trading her away. I won't bother getting her back in my island again ever!

Cherry was a starter villager and before ever seeing her actual interior, I knew that the starter house did not suit her style at all. I ended up getting an amiibo for her so I could let her leave and invite her back. I’m so glad I did as her actual interior is just so much better.

I had Phoebe as a starter and when I got my second camper I let him replace her. The colorful wooden block furniture in her starter house is awful. My best friend adopted her and recently got her back to me as she found a sisterly she would rather keep. I don’t think I could part with her again.

Sure have! I've had the following villagers multiple times, either to sell or give to friends: Judy, Sherb, Dom, Tangy, Raymond, Whitney, Olivia, Diana, Marshal.

I'm also thinking about moving out a couple of my dreamies to find on an island later on, to remove one of the Abel Sisters designs they infrequently wear.

Find a person adopt her and ask if they have amiibo to kick her out right after she moved out ur island ( a.k.a u got her empty slot ). Come to that person island and adopt her back, she will rmb who you are. I did that to my 5 starter villagers for reset their house but still keep their memories about me.

I might be doing this with Vesta. She's moving out in the next couple of days, because I desperately need to get a wider variety of personalities on my island, and currently she's one of four normal villagers on my island (I'm definitely keeping two). But if I don't get a duplicate of any other personality at any point, I might end up trying to move her back in, because she's so cute!

Not on my NH island but I bought Snake’s amiibo so I could have him move to my New Leaf town. He had to leave because it was either him or Genji but I couldn’t decide so when Marshal became a camper, whoever he chose was the one that I let go. I do occasionally invite him as a camper just to see him on my island.

I intentionally kicked Nan out ONLY because I have her card and could invite her back in right away. Just wanted her upgraded interior.

I haven't but in the future I would consider doing this with Zucker just to make his house not a basic one. Also to increase my chances of getting his photo again.
