Has anyone misspelled your name before?

Yes my manager has a habit of misspelling it -________-

He writes Chelsey instead of Chelsea. Now I dont exactly like my name but I think Chelsey is worse atleast.(ive been working there for a year)

The reason why he is writing my name in the first place is for me to do overtime for him (this is every week= 18 hours extra than usual)............................. #rude! (yeah I just hash tagged, Ive never done that before)

Many, many, many times. I assume because my name isn't well known unless you know the franchise it comes from (I was named after a video game character..) and people would put 'e' instead of 'i'.

Almost as often as people mispronounce it. My name is Devon, but is pronounced like Devin, so people assume it's spelled with an i. It's also been misspelled "Devan" and "Deven". People usually pronounce it "deh-vawn", but the worst mispronunciation was "dee-vin". I hate my name sometimes, but no other name would really suit me xD

A lot of times. My name is very unusual so most people always spell it wrong until I correct them. When I was a kid, people could spell it but always pronounced it wrong. Now it's the other way around.

Yea I have had this also, I registered with this thing and they had to send a letter to clarify that I was a member so when I got the letter they spelt my last name as christrian, lol adding a r in the middle, I have also had this whith my first name and they only put 1 s instead of two!

my last name gets mangled just as much, and it's not really that long or weird.

And sometimes people say it like "Dee-AH-na" (like Gianna) when it's supposed to be "Dy-AN-uh"
