Has anyone maxed out their house storage once it's fully upgraded?

Maxed mine out after two months, 1600 is nowhere near enough storage.
Yeah the colour variations on so many items now make it so you need even more storage than usual. Also cool signature

I maxed out storage within a month of playing the game. I generally buy all color variations of clothing items and have started investing more time into cataloging furniture items. It's a struggle every day trying to decide what to keep in storage, what to display on my island, and what to sell and only re-order once I'm certain I'll use it. It doesn't help that I keep putting off prioritizing which clothing to keep/toss. 
It became such a problem, that I was motivated to create a second character - mostly to have a second storage!

Mine has been maxed out or near maxed out (1570+) since what seems two weeks after I upgraded the last time (but may have been as much as a month). None of my attempts to clean it out really work...I do have hoarding tendencies in real life, so I figure better the game than my real home

It's been fully. I was good about it for a while but it got full again when I changed my mind about how I would decorate a certain area

I've definitely hit the limit once and been very close to it a few times too.

Me too! Then you find out you have 10 things of the same color because you forgot that you bought it the first 9 times.

Yeah the storage is way too small for time travellers and hoarders like me lol. When I first hit the 1600 max limit, I ended up going through my clothes and throwing out all the ones that I didn't think i'd wear myself, and probably through out like 400 pieces of clothing because I used to be way to obsessed with the able sister's shop. Of course though, after a while I hit the limit AGAIN, except this time there weren't too many clothes to throw out since i'd stopped using able's for the most part. I ended up doing a big storage clean out thread here on Nook's Cranny, and that really helped me get rid of loads of furniture items. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if I hit the limit again sometime soon though, and at that point i'm probably just gonna sell half of the re orderable item's to nook's cranny shop in game for a quick and easy solution. If I ever need any of those items again, I can always just order them from the catalogue and TT to get them straight away, so I wouldn't really be against that at all.
That's a good idea
that way you can pretty much double your storage although it takes quite a few bells to max out the house.
How many houses can you have on 1 island?
I think eight but not too sure. I really like decorating the interior so I don't mind it too much.
