Has anyone here ever bred Blue Roses?

I'm trying to work on it and I'm getting a lot of mixed signals from the internet. Has anyone here actually bred them without getting them from another person first? And if so, how did you do it?

Never. I ended up just getting a breeding pair because I could never get it to work.

i got my first 2 blue roses from here. breeding blue roses from whatever roses is hard work.

I actually got a blue rose as a gift when I allowed people to sell turnips in my town.. but kept it in my house as decoration while I was trying to create a blue rose.

I first created a purple rose from breeding white roses, and bred that with 4 red roses in an "X" formation, such that if there was a red rose spawned outside of that formation, I would know that it would be a hybrid red rose. KEEP TRACK OF ALL YOUR HYBRID ROSES. >:X

I then bred the hybrid red roses with its own kind and orange roses until I got a blue rose. Then I bred blue roses together for more. ^^

I've never been able to breed blue roses before. In fact, the only blue hybrids I've managed to breed are blue violets.

It took months, but I finally did, using pretty much the same method as above- I used a golden shovel to bury fertilizer by the hybrid red roses too :3

I did breed 2 blue roses many moons ago and I was very pleased with myself, it actually took me over a month to get my first and a lot quicker to get my second.

I bred my first blue roses kind of by chance. I just brought a bunch of red roses to my beach, assuming there were at least a few hybrid reds between them.. And after a few weeks a blue rose popped up. Then a few days later another one. I didn't use fertilizer or anything. So if you're still trying to get them yourself, my suggestion would be to place a few hybrid red roses together and obviously water them everyday.

I managed to breed one once, but then had a visitor that decided to trample it down. I didn't know until he left again, so that was that rose. x_x

I have dozens of blue roses I grew myself by following this method. To begin you will need hybrid/special red roses. These are created by crossing orange and purple roses. Once the red hybrid roses show up use these to grow blue roses. When you have a pair of blue roses use these to grow more. Your success rate is higher when you use the color and type of flower you want from the actual breeding pairs.

I didn't use fertilizer just watered them everyday with gold watering can. I didn't think I would ever be able to grow these darn thing but I kept at it until I succeeded.

I'm currently in the process of breeding them! I am currently trying to get purple roses, hopefully they will show up in a couple of days. Then I'll be growing orange roses and after that I will try to get hybrid red roses by crossing the orange and purple roses. When I have those I can finally breed blue roses by crossing the hybrid reds... Wish me luck!

yes, i used the method barbara posted above. took about 3 weeks. now i have more blue roses than i know what to do with.

I breed blue roses before. But people who are trying there are wii hard to breed. It took me a whole 5 hours of just time traveling and watering plants to get two. But once you have 2, breed them till you have like 10 so you have backups. I recommend just buying them from here

I never got one randomly like that, I've tried for months but I just never seemed to get any. I ended up getting tons of each hybrid rose, but never any blues. So, as a last resort, I bought two of them from on here and now I have well over a hundred in my town.

I brought a pair of blue roses and then breeded them together to produce more, it can honestly be very tedious otherwise.

Yes, I did. It took about three weeks like the other member said and I also used the same method. It too patience, patience, patience but was SO worth it when I found the first one,

I used the fence method. Two red hybrids, watered daily, pick the extras and continue this for about three weeks. I guarantee you, it will work! Just be patient and follow the directions

I haven't bred a blue one, but I have bred black one and got a purple one from gift.They are now in my fence, so I won't run through them.

I tried to breed blue roses for weeks and it never worked, so I stomped on the flowers I was using. Then I just bought a few from someone on here.
