Has anyone had any issues getting PWP requests on Sundays?

I've been using the wetsuit trick for a straight hour and I'm starting to get really frustrated.

I don't get a ping every time and when I do, a villager asks me a stupid question or asks to call me a nickname or asks me to change their slogan.

uh I got a pwp first try today. I literally just trapped both phoebe and wendy and thought I'd have to do it for a long time since my villagers hate to give me pwp suggestions, but I returned 5 minutes later and got a pwp ping immediately!! i think you should give up for today if you've been doing it for such a long time tho, sometimes they just dont want the town to be developed..

Hm, you might have one of several issues.
A) Your villagers of a certain type have requested all of their potential requests for their personality types.
B) You have too many PWPs in your town.
C) You have stuff in your pockets and so your villagers are interested what is inside them.

the stone tablet is fab though!!!! i'm down to the last remaining few pwp's in my town and it's taking me forever, you'd have thought it might have been easier since i'm only concentrating on a couple of vills but nope, they hate me

I don't keep track, but perhaps the turnip seller has something to do with it? Just a weird thought, lol.
