The prices adequately reflect the value of the things sold. To the extent that prices are lower for certain things elsewhere, that is a function of lower traffic favoring buyers making low bids. Nookazon prices seem inflated because they accurately reflect the fact that all currencies have been devalued due to Nintendo allowing duping of every single commodity to be possible in the game for over a week. If someone who dupes wants Raymond, it is meaningless for them to offer 1200 or 1600 or 2000 tickets for him. Nobody who does not dupe can compete with purchasers who dupe. That means that the prices of villagers, which cannot be duped, are going to be very high.
I’ve had no problems trading on Nookazon for both villagers and items, but I try to buy things that aren’t super expensive that would take multiple trips. It’s very fast to sell stuff there imo and traders are usually quick to accept or decline your offer if they’re online.
I needed a few more crown and wreath recipes and while I paid a little more than I thought (couple hundred thousand bells for the last one), it was worth it to me. I do prefer the feedback system and overall trading etiquette here though.
I've only done a handful of trades on nookazon but the ones I have done have been extremely positive! Even made an extremely good friend who ended up inviting me here from it! And ended up finding a bug collecting group that I love from it too! I tend to like to take the time to talk to the people I am selling to or buying from and I do think it makes all the difference though! I do hear the horror stories here and there still though...So I'd still be extra cautious! As for the prices I like to think of it as a convenience fee, and thats how I tend to treat it, only buy from there when I want something fast.
Yup! I went on a trading spree one day and made 30+ trades, most people were nice and only a few were "okay" but not rude or a jerk by any means. Loved it
I've done at least 44 trades according to my reviews and they've all gone perfectly well. As with any site, the best thing to do is to just be cautious of who you trade with. If you see someone with sub 5 stars, then try to avoid them as best as possible. Seems a little unfair to people, but I do generally trade with people have at least one positive review. I will trade with others though, but when I do, I just tend to be a bit more wary
