Has anyone figured out if amiibo villagers can move to another person's town yet?

I don't mean the special ones like Epona, Ganon, Wolf Link, and all those.

I mean the ones that just came out on December 2nd, like Gonzo, Vivian, Louie, Carrie, Candy, etc.

There's a villager I want like sooo much but he's an amiibo villager (its in my sig under GUESS WHAT??). If I can't get him from someone else I'll just try to find a way to get the card myself.

Yes they can.

i don't think you can get people from other towns to have them move in from their rv, i think the owner of the amiibo villager has to move them into the town and then force them out with another card, then they'll be in boxes and you can move them in
