I was trading off a villager and I got a deal, he came to my town and paid and got her to move in with him, I went AFK, and when I came back, he was gone and all my trees were gone and all my flowers were as well. Has this ever happened to you?

One time this girl came to town to pick up a villager, and just started running all around instead of using paths, she ended up destroying half of my carnation garden -.-

My friend dug some holes, but I got them all dug back up before we went to the island.
(In which Kapp'N then asked if we were going on a Honeymoon.)
(So we talked about how dumb he was and called him some bad things)
That same friend stole my turnips, but I guess it was fair because he gave me some of it and I did steal his money rock (I put the turnips down to be able to collect all of it)

I think someone tried to seed my town back in Wild World a few years back. If you don't know what seeding is a visitor basically dropped a "seed" they hacked in to spawn a museum in front of your town gates so you could never wifi again without resetting everything.
Sometimes people would come in when I wifi'd a lot and try to grief my town and destroy stuff. I'd just flick the power button on my DS
I haven't had much trouble with New Leaf yet, though.

I've never had issues with people in my town before, but just yesterday some one shook my only bell tree when I wasn't looking 
Now I have to regrow it and hope I get as lucky as I did with the first one. I would have just cut the wifi off, but I was in the middle of a trade.

This isn't anyones fault, but I visited a town with 9 villagers, and i ended up getting one from their town move in. idk how it happened, but the villager (Axel) destroyed my trees and flowers placing his dumb house ._.;

It wasn't my town, but my friend's. We were having a little gift exchange and she was showing me her new villagers when a random guy visited and immediately started trying to swap the gifts I gave her and the flowers I had dropped off. She flipped the switch before he could go any further. She PMed me on FB shaken up and upset. She never had it happen before and was just happy I was there. It was just the most messed up thing ever. He just ran in and started taking crap; who does that? Ughhhh.

I've never had an issues with people thankfully.
I feel bad being like a hawk with visitors but you just have to. :/
All of my trades are done at the train station so no one moves around much. I was trading a villager twice and each time the person followed me perfectly without destroying or taking anything.
Maybe I'm just lucky, I don know but I'm glad.
