Has anyone else had 2+ weeks of almost constant rain?

I dunno how varied the weather is in NH yet, but my last two weeks have literally been roughly 5 or 6 rainy days during a 7 day week...and not just a shower for a few hours either, full days of rain.

I'm getting sick of digging up flowers growing where I don't want them to grow...

I have had a LOT of rain lately, but things are looking up! I finally (hopefully finally) found my weather seed, and now have the complete weather forecast for my island. So far, it has been correct (only found it this past week), but I'm planning to check this coming week for a light meteor shower on the schedule as my final test for if it is the correct seed.

It doesn't stop the rain, but having the forecast is such an amazing tool I don't mind the rain so much anymore, lol.

I have the same issue.
I like the rain in NH, but it gets annoying with flowers growing all over the place and then you have to deal with breaking shovels after digging up flowers and selling them.

I haven't had full days of rain in about a week or so, it usually rains either in the morning or at night, but not all day. It was like that a while ago, maybe the second and third week in June.

I think that NH has a set "rainy season" where you just get a ton of rain. The same way that the SH right now just has constant snow. Not just on the ground either but day after day where it actively snows. Which also seems to cause flowers to spread.

I do think it is done to go with the rainy season in Japan which usually lasts from June to early/mid July. So the ton of rain should be stopping sometime soon. I know that other Animal Crossing games had the same thing... the only difference is that the rainy season would be announced ahead of time via the bulletin board, but since this is a town that no one has lived on before I suppose Tom Nook/Isabelle wouldn't know that there was going to be a rainy season. I do hope that they add in an update that after you have lived on your island and gone through this once... Tom Nook leaves a warning on the bulletin board ahead of the rainy season.

Either way... I am getting tired of all of this rain. It just stopped on my island right now, but it will probably start back up in like an hour or two... I am starting to get real tired of all of these flowers I am seeing on my island. I wanna clean them up, but I am not going to till I know the rainy season I over.

Tons of rain on my island, yep
Helpful for flower breeding but not for the areas i'm trying to keep in check, sadly

Same here only had one day so far this week it didn’t rain. I don’t mind it too much, just wish it wouldn’t rain all day long like it has been lately.

I was given some advice with the snow. Somebody suggested using a transparent pathway to help block them in while working on major projects. That might be useful during the rainy season.

Well, if you guys aren't enjoying the rain, you might as well add winter in seasons you dislike. Any amount of snowfall is the equivalent of rain and flowers will explode. 😅

I honestly can't remember the last time it hasn't rain. No doubt most of my island is covered in transparent tiles to prevent flowers from spawning.

I broke so many shovels cause of all the flowers that grew cause of the rain I’ve had

Yes, I’ve been getting rain every day for the past 2 weeks. It will rain when I log on at 10am to do dailies and it’s still raining at noon when I check in. For the past few days it has cleared at around 5pm-6pm and it rains at all night again. Really annoying because I want to take some nice pictures during daylight when it’s clear and while the hydrangeas are still in bloom but it’s either always rainy or cloudy. I don’t really mind about flowers spreading because I organized my town in a way that limits flower cloning but it’s still annoying.

I've been the same. Although, do remember that mid-late June is the "rainy season" in previous games. You did get the weather report ont he Bulletin Board about it back then.

I think it also coincides with how in Japan, June is the "rainiest month".

It makes sense we've seen a lot of rain, but the game hasn't really portrayed it with any kind of warning so it feels odd. Willing to bet most of us will see mostly sunny days after another week or so if the past games are anything to go off of.

We won't see this happening much in the next few weeks! Rainy season is over.

Two weeks?

Try three months.

Every day, except maybe four days, it rained and stormed.

It's raining now in my game.

Kinda fed up with it.
I don't think I'll be playing this much longer if things don't improve.

If you're sick of digging out flowers that grow in the rain, I highly recommend getting a blank custom pattern and placing it in the spots you don't want flowers in.
