Has anyone else been neglecting their house?

I feel like there's not enough furniture I like, so I don't know how to decorate my house.. I'm hoping for more furniture in the future. I've only done my kitchen and my bedroom, and the rest of my rooms are storage. I also don't understand why we can't expand our size rooms anymore?? They're so small!

I’ve decorated 3 out of 6 rooms, my living room is literally a DIY table and that’s it

I've been trying to decorate my house, but there just isn't a whole lot of furniture that I'm interested in at the moment so most of my rooms are a mishmash of random crap, and a lot of empty space.

decorating outside is just overall more fun and has taken up 90% of my playing time, plus i just don't have enough stuff that fits the theme i want to go for. i’m hoping more furniture from new leaf and pocket camp makes a return in later updates so i’ll actually have an incentive to spend time on my house

I was until I got tired of decorating the outside so last week I just started decorating my house. It’s about half done but I need ideas and I need to get rid of a bunch of diy recipes

I just kind of set up small basic rooms but I don't touch it too often. I feel like because the game focuses so much on decorating the island there isn't enough for inside the house, especially tables.

i went all out on my house, and i’ve been neglecting my town because i have absolutely no inspiration. i’m waiting until fall (mush furniture!) to do any more decorating

I focused on getting all the expansions first before I even had decent furniture... it's still a long way to go for me and I'm very picky about what I put into my house. So it's an ongoing journey for me. Haven't been neglecting it, I guess. I'm just waiting for the right furniture to come up.

Yes x 1000! My kitchen's the only room that's officially finished and even then I can still think of a few things I'd like to change around. The bathroom and basement are maybe halfway there, but my bedroom is a total disaster. And, like, I have some of the furniture I want in storage, I just never bother to put it out. Please tell me I'm not the only one who hoards like that.

I haven't decorated my house since I unlocked terraforming My island takes priority for now since its much more interesting and the villagers can actually interact with the furniture. but I'll probably get to working on my interior next month
