Has ANYONE actually gotten a good gift from Wisp?

The first time I met him I asked for something expensive... got a flooring that costs like 800bells. >.>

but isn't there only one cushion in the game (that can be customized to the other ones)? that shouldn't count as new wisp!

I've gotten a zen cushion 3 times as a new item, pretty sure I just broke wisp

I always ask for new items because the expensive items are usually disappointments lol. The new items are awesome, whatever they may be, cuz it helps me fill out my catalogue ^_^

I'm pretty sure he gave me the default house wallpaper when I asked for something new. it's possible I had all the (orderable) wallpapers at that point? but I was so bummed lol. Other than that I've gotten pretty average stuff from him. I'm really hoping he's guaranteed to give you something new if he's able to, I really need that to complete my catalog.
