Has anybody else wanted shortcuts for chat?

I find that while most of the time my trades consist of hi, ty and bye, I can’t help but feel like it’s still a bit of a nuisance to type those 2-3 letters, even with the Nintendo online app.

It’s not that big of a deal, but it gets frantic for me sometimes when I’m trying to say hi but then someone waves and then I wonder if they’ll think I’m rude if I don’t wave back so then by the time I start waving they’re already saying bye and walking into the airport and before I know it they’re gone.

Would shortcuts make a difference for you?

Yes! Ones you can customize or select from some presets like in Rocket League.

Oh, I meant shortcuts but a phone would be handy, too!

Oh I haven't play rocket league... I give up after sucking at it. I will revisit though.

I’d find it really handy if we were able to set a few custom shortcuts. Especially when I’m dropping hybrids off to someone - the number of times there’s been an awkward pause while I take forever to type “where can I plant” is too many to count lol. If I could save that as a shortcut, it’d be a lifesaver.

Oh I haven't play rocket league... I give up after sucking at it. I will revisit though.

On average, it takes hundreds of hours of play to get somewhat good at it. Just keep practicing if it’s something you enjoy playing.

Shortcuts would be so helpful! I use the online app, but even so, shortcuts would help avoid those awkward moments when you're both just standing there during a trade.

I would like to have more 'text' saved in the Nintendo app.
Like it only remembers the last thing you said. If it saved up the 5 last thing you said it would be so much better. Or if you could add in some standard phrases..
