Has a villager pinged you today?

So today is Shamrock day and I'm wondering if villagers are able to ping you? Reason being I've heard rumours from both Scoot and Lolly that Marshal wants to leave but the little bugger won't ping me! I've saved and quit at least 4 times now which usually does the trick but it hasn't today. I'm nowhere near panicking cos I only stopped Molly from moving yesterday so I know I have 5 days, but just out of interest if anyone has been pinged today?

Pecan pinged me to leave, nobody was giving me any rumors at all.

I did boot up the game a few times though, and I had already talked to all of the villagers while wearing my shamrock hat by the time she pinged me.

Besides shamrock day is just a normal day!
its only the proper events when the villagers wont talk about anything else, that they wont ping eg festivale, halloween, easter i think

Oooo I know someone who is despretly looking for Blaire! They have posted a few times in the looking for _______ thread.
As for Blaire and Dotty, I have them both in my town and I love them dearly.
