Has A Villager Ever Shaken A Tree And Gotten Something To Drop?

I see villagers shake trees a lot in the title screen and sometimes when I'm watering plants. I notice they get sad if nothing drops, but I'm wondering if any ever got lucky to get at least get a coin to drop or even better a bee hive xD.

The closest I've gotten to seeing a reaction was when I helped them shake a tree and a beehive drop and they made a shocked expression and said something along the lines of "youve done it now!" and "run!" when I clicked on them. xD

im pretty sure they're programmed to only shake trees with nothing in/on them. i once shook a tree for the fruit (no villager ever shook that tree) but right after i collected the fruit, lucy went to shake it, only to sigh in disappointment lol

lol I get that too I shake a tree only for the villager seeing me shaking the tree do the same thing and get sad? xd

really, the only thing the poor things got were disappointment. they looked so sad when they got nothing in the tree.

Not that I know of. They'll always have that one emote after shaking the tree, but at least they're more interactive with objects.

I think they never have the luck to actually get something, which it's a shame, as I do wish sometimes
they would find an item or some bells while shaking a tree. Like come on game, give my poor villagers
a successful experience for once...

It would be rlly cool if they could actually get something to drop and when they do they use a happy emotion, it would be alot less depressing lol

Sometimes I wish a bee hive would drop just so they can stop dropping on me. And then I can give them medicine. I miss giving my sick villagers medicine.

This is before amiibo update so I don't know if it's still the same, but I once saw Fauna shaking trees just to be run after by bees. I think I had a picture of this scene in my old 3DS (that I had been using for like 4 years, ended up not charging anymore no matter what). Fauna was showing EXTREME reaction of fear and that was actually so silly and cute.

Theyre programmed for shake trees and dont get nothing, i think... One time Stitches shaked a tree and doed the cold chill emotion. Then i shaked that tree and got 100 bells '-' like one time Whitney shaked a tree and got nothing, then i shaked and got a beehive. Or one time Toby ahaked a tree and - obviously - didnt got nothing, then i shaked it and got a server that i gave as a present for him on a letter (because my bff villager on my old save file was Graham, he is smug like Toby the Keroppi bunny and Graham haved a server on his house)

If you shook the tree right after they did and got something to drop then that conclusively answers the question. Just like they're not programmed to catch bugs or fish.

It'd be nice if they took more part in the things that you did, too. I guess a good start was letting them plant flowers and water them.
