If a villager asks for a fruit to eat then yes, but they'll be a bit disappointed.

I got my first dish wrong, miss out on getting the cornucopia


Villagers wise I've always substitute to perfect fruit if I have, and my villagers is very happy. Saying I have gone far and beyond

I like that you can find all 3 ingredients at your villagers, but I hate not finding the right fish they ask for. When I finally have it they give me a fruit I already have instead of milk or butter... Geesh~

I think if you have two of the three main ingredients in your inventory, they will always give you the third and final one, and then tell you the secret ingredient.

Keep all fish you find, or at least one of each kind.

Keep all ingredients for the dish in your bag, or when trading fish your villagers might give you that piece of fruit you just dropped outside to make room in your bag. That's a pain...

Oh cool. I logged off for a moment and when I went back I noticed the villager cooks changed. Others were inside their homes now asking for different fish, which I happened to have already.
