Anyone seen the movie yet? I saw it at the midnight premiere on thursday. I am a pretty big HP fan, read all the books/seen all the movies, and I liked this one a lot. Much better than the last movie which was kinda bad.

Anyways, what were your thoughts on the movie - has anyone else seen it or plan to see it?

i plan on seeing it but the 5th and 6th movies were beyond terrible. I'm probably only watching it cuz i saw the other 6.

I've not watched, played, read or know nothing about Harry Potter.
Although It looks like it's going to end the Harry Potter series (later on next year) when part 2 comes out.

Seen and read every movie/book. Loved them all :D

Though in the end of the movie my friend ruined it all by sobbing really loud >_>

I'm seeing it today after work!

I've read all the books and I can't wait to see how closely they got this to the book.

Yeah having the movie follow the book for the most part is really important to me. I think they did a good job in this movie fitting everything in. There were some minor adjustments that I noticed, but nothing big that completely ruined the movie for me.

@Rogar two girls in my theater where hysterical when Dobby died... everyone else was laughing at them because the looked/sounded so ridiculous. I guess I am not THAT dedicated of a fan. But I will probably cry during the last movie since I cried while reading the end of the book.

All my friends cried at Dobby.

And this film is probably the best in terms keeping to the story...
Except for maybe the earlier ones....

I can understand some tears but these girls were literally crying like they were having an emotional breakdown. Everyone in the theater could hear them haha when hedwig died they also started screaming NOO HEDWIGG!!

I cried when Dobby gave his speech about being a Free Elf then almost a minute later I cried when he died!

My tears also watered up when Hedwig died!

I have no idea what you guys are talking about :P I guess I should get into harry potter.
It gets easier the earlier you start. So it might take some time if you're gonna read them. And it's better to read the books before you watch the movies. NOT vice versa.
