What was the hardest badge to obtain so far? For me, it's the Streetpass badge. I mean, you have to a HUNDRED Streetpasses for ACNL! I can barely get 2! I haven't gotten it yet, but the hardest badge that I DID get was probably the Gold Samaritan badge. Took me forever! >_>

For me, it's the StreetPass Badge as well. I haven't even gotten one. It's the only badge that I don't even have bronze in. Next to that would probably be the Weeding Badge. I've been to around 7 or so weeding events in cycling towns (so they have hundreds and thousands weeds), and I've only got the Silver Badge so far. It took me around 5 events to get the Silver, so I'll probably have to go to around 15 to get the Gold.
I'm considering just buying a new copy for weeding purposes, at least for sometime (and I guess I could slowly grind for the StreetPass badge as well).

I'm not actually sure, I have atleast bronze of all of the badges so they're not impossible to get. Just takes a lot of time. 
But I guess the weeding badge since I don't get many weeds and too lazy to go weed someone else's town haha.

Also the ones where you visit other towns 500 times/get visited 500 times. I know I'll never get those.

Yes, it can be different ones, but it also counts if you go to the same one.

Have you gone every Saturday so far?
There are Streetpass meets where people with 3DS's gather to Streetpass. There's plenty of people around me to streetpass though I'm no where close to 1000
Oh, yes, that I know. I thought you were implying you had to go to the same dream town 500 times, and I thought that was a little bit much for an achievement badge haha
