Happy Home Paradise Shop question

So just wondering if the Happy Home Paradise shop is the same as Nooks Cranny as in regards it changes stock everyday. If so is anyone else having issues with it restocking. Or does it only restock on a certain day like Harv's Island. So on further investigation my Nook Cranny doesn't restock every day either. So I'm guessing my game is bugged. Anyone know any solutions or am I just out of luck

To confirm it 100% it functions the same as Nook's Cranny does.

(If you buy enough items from the shop Wardell will offer you a catalog of items you purchased, or was it obtained via the amount of villager houses you put down. I don't remember which)

Both the island shop and Nook's Cranny have different items on display each day.
