Happy birthday! =) Hope you and your new laptop have some great times.

I did have fun times 'till IE crashed, my Sherlock Fanfic was typed up* and I press post then IE has stopped responding! I need to download a new browser Tomorrow, probably Opera.

*You guys are gonna say type it up again but I made changes when I typed it so, yeah, I am so pissed off.

Eeg I'm sorry, that's terribly annoying! You might want to type longer things in a word processor and save often so you don't lose anything like that. =c

I highly suggest that you do use another browser, some internerd favorites are Firefox and for me, Google Chrome. :3

use notepad to type stuff up, save it often with Ctrl + S (save) and when you're done/ready to upload it, hit Ctrl + A to highlight it all, then just copy paste it.

notepad > microsoft word, unless you need the extra features like highlighting and such.

notepad doesn't have ads... I think you're thinking of wordpad, or MS word :/ mirite?

I've got the rainbow theme on my laptop, and the pink one with the strange afro guy on my desktop.

Apparently it's called Microsoft Works Word Processor. I used it all the time when it didn't have ads in XP. :<

notepad's just your basic text editor, but it's great.

I'm assuming MS Works Word Processor is just the hybrid of MS word and notepad, but lolwat

notepad should be somewhere in the accessories, by default.. I'd think :/

I'm gonna re-type it on notepad or word, then I'll copy it to here and then later on, fanfiction.net.
Thanks for the advice IE really sucks on windows 7, I'll go get a new browser now.

if you're going to get firefox, trick it out with add-ons and skins and stuff.

if chrome, awesome.
