Happy Birthday Bam?

So I just bought Bam from someone a couple of days ago (no offense from the person I bought him from) and he plotted 2 days ago, moved in yesterday(in boxes of course). I went to go visit him when I realized, he was having a birthday party. Needless to say that I was surprised. I'm pretty sure Isabelle didn't tell me. And I wanted to talk to him today too, talk about bad timing! Has this ever happened to you guys before?

I have this app on my phone, it popped a notification if your villagers have their birthday that day, and what's today event, and also what fish and bugs that can be caught that day and that time of the day, and basically lot more. you can keep track on what have you obtained and what haven't (for everything! Furni, songs, clothes, art, fish, bugs, even villagers!)

It is so handy and helped me to run my task as a faithful mayor Lol

I'm on android and in google play look up: Animal Crossing New Leaf Guide (the icon is a green square with the picture of leaf, but not like the furniture leaf in acnl game)

And the developer is jRuston Apps

I'm not sure if it's available on ios or not tho..

I also have that app and I have an iphone so yeah.

OT: no it hasn't happened to me, but Whitney hasn't lived in my town for very long so I want to talk to her every day. A few days ago it was Lucky's birthday and she was in his house with him all day, which made me a little frustrated.
I've also had a villager move in and the day they're out of boxes being an event so they'll only talk about the even which is a bit disappointing ):
