Do the little handheld items from Redd’s Raffle only work once (like party poppers)? I want to buy a bunch of the raffle tickets but not if the items are going to die in five seconds lmao

Too soon to say since the patch isn't out yet.
In New Leaf certain items lasted forever and certain items did not. Bubble wand would be forever for example, but fireworks would be single use.

Balloons definitely stay forever, but I think you could release them too, purposely or accidentally.
If I remember, correctly, the bubble wands stayed forever as well.
Then again, it could change this time.
