Buying Handheld book (from Redd)

I saw in a video recently that it's now possible to get a book from Redd's stand on Harvey's Island, which the player can hold in their hand. I haven't unlocked that part yet (I restarted) but I really want the book. if anyone has a spare one I would love to buy it

Hopefully seeing a reply to this didn't get your hopes up too much, as I only have information to offer.

I dunno how many variants there are of each item, but there's a pocketbook and a pocket magazine and each has XX amount of designs which I wasn't prepared for.
So far I have 2 pocketbooks (looks like these are based on the villager hobbies as I have one with plants and one with workout equipment)
and 1 pocket magazine (which I'm guessing is based on the variations of the magazine furniture item, as mine is a comic book).

If you're happy with any old one, then I'm sure you won't have to wait long. If you're after a specific variant...that might be another story lol

variant doesn't matter, I honestly didn't even know there were different variants lol

There's 4 of the handheld magazine, and 5 for the pocketbook. Cyrus can customize them to any of the variants, same with all furniture that have variants.
