Hey everyone! So I was lurking around the Interwebs and came across a tutorial for making your own clay gyroids. I finally got the materials necesary to make it, but first, I decided to make a sculpture of my smookums, Sheldon. <3

s2h72s.jpgThe base was made from a bottle cap. :D

I had tons of fun making this, and while it's practically my first clay figurine, I'll probably make some more in the future. If I do, I'll be sure to add them onto the OP post! :)

That looks like a lot of fun. The dog will probably spill all my paint and eat the clay though. ;)

WOW. That's amazing! Is it your first one you ever made?

Tell me about it! It did get rather messy as you can see in the pics above. Having a dog myself, I know just how ravenous they are for practically everything, edible or not. I made sure to keep him away from the project, fortunately. :lemon:

Hehe, yep! It actually turned out better than I expected, I haven't had much luck with Air-dry clay in the past, to be honest. :p

Next time, though, I'll try my hand at using polymer instead. Thanks for the encouragement!
