If you use any hair styling products, which do you prefer? I prefer hairspray, however, I need to use gel on one section of hair otherwise it keeps lifting up. :)

The only time I ever used hairspray was for highschool graduation. I don't like the smell or feeling of it in my hair so I let me hair naturally do its thing.

I only bother with products if I’m going to a special event, and when I do I use hairspray. But it’s extremely rare. In the past I’ve used a sort of leave-in gel that wasn’t stiff, or a “hair cream” that held my hair straight up, but those were for different hair styles I had in the past

I don't usually use any products. Even when I had super short hair I didn't add any gel cause my hair would just feel hard and crispy.

i don’t use either cause i find they make my hair feel stiff and crunchy. if i want to add some shine and definition to my curls I’ll usually use a curl cream or a curl custard. i’ve been loving the curl custard by pattern recently! leaves my hair feeling a lot softer and less frizzy

never used hair gel but sometimes use hair spray, though it's usually a very rare occurrence when I'm trying to keep it styled nicely for a special event and always a very small amount as I don't really like how it makes my hair feel. majority of the time though I just let my hair do its thing and leave it as it is.

I’ve never used hair gel before and i only use hairspray once in a blue moon, usually only if i’m doing a fancy hair do for a formal event I’m to attend. other than that the only hair product I use is a heat styling spray for when I need to straighten my hair.

I don’t usually use hair styling products but I’ve used hairspray a few times in my life.

I don't use heat on my hair a ton and opt for heatless curls/wave methods. I find that applying gel or a curl cream prior to styling helps it hold better. I don't enjoy using hairspray because of the smell, I don't personally love aerosol cans, and I'm worried about inhaling the spray.

I haven’t used either of those products in over a decade. If I have to choose, then I prefer hairspray. Hair gel gives a greasy appearance if you use too much. Which I did as a child.

I use blue Difi for hair gel. It's probably not the best for my hair, but it's about the only thing that'll keep it in place when I want to style it. Thankfully I don't usually style it that often though. Only when I'm going to an event or somewhere for a special occasion.

I don't use any hair gel or hairspray. Thankfully I've never really needed it but I know plenty that use it on a daily basis.

On a daily basis, neither. On special occasions, when I actually do my hair somewhat styled, I’ll use a flexible hold type of hairspray. But every day, I use a leave-in conditioner spray to tame all my flyaways, & I generally cannot walk out the door without this product!

I use hair wax whenever I got out. My hair is quite thick and I need to keep them down. Back when I was still studying, I use hair gel instead since wax was mostly just a salon product.

Hairspray, I don't something as intense as gel. I'd think I'm more likely to use hair wax before gel.

I usually don't use products in my hair, but I've been experimenting lately to get less frizz in my curls. I lean more towards gel, but see the benefits in both. I hate getting my hands sticky, so I really appreciate this spray gel by Garnier for keeping little frizz bits down. I also really like hair honey for after I wash my hair. It defines my curls as they dry without leaving the crunchy texture.
