do you use it? do you like it?
i really don't like the look of hair gel. some people can pull it off but i just cant not think that the persons hair is just hella greasy

i don’t like it. styling cream and hair clay give a much more matte appearance and keep my hair tame, which is all i could ask. i don’t think i’d ever use hair gel, and you can usually tell when someone does.

I have way too much hair for gel to do anything to styling wise, but I agree I usually does leave a funky greasy look... I think palmade is usually better. I only ever use leave in conditioner and dry shampoos in my hair.. XD

I honestly probably should use it, but I also have oily skin, so it's not the end of the world just because I don't.

hellno, I already have greasy/oily hair so putting gel on it is just chaos lmao + I never needed to use it so I can live without it with no problem at all

please don't disrespect yourselves by using hair gel,,, that crunchy, flaky, wet mess is just. use a wax, cream, clay pomade, styling powder, anything before you put gel anywhere near any hair except eyebrows.

I tried it when I was a teenager.

My hair felt like cement.

If I had headbutted anyone, they would have had a serious problem.

Hair gel? No, I don't use that. I may look bland without it, but that's why I keep my hair short

I used to use it but then my hair started becoming more curly to the point where I didn't have to use it to have hair that looked fine and didn't look like I pulled an all nighter.

i tried it since my hair is so beyond repulsive, but it didnt work and neither does anything else my hair just stays flat so now i have a wig lol

ive never used gel, but i did get a hair wax from walmart and it was so greasy i hated it & never again aha

I really think the only thing "gel" is good for is for like super spikes and stuff that need the glue like texture of gel to keep their integrity. And until I decide I want a mohawk I probably wont use gel in my hair. XD

I use it, but I'm relatively new to experimenting with hair products and I might try something more matte in the future.

I use a product that's a mix between gel and cream. It holds my hair really well and it has a natural look to it so it's not super shiny and greasy. My hair gets super fine and fluffy if I don't put conditioner or something else in it (which I really hate), so I use gel to make it semi spiky (but in a tidy way). My hair is sort of "swished" to one side but a wee bit spiky cause my hair naturally grows in that direction.

When I was younger I put far too much in my hair and my hair was way longer, so I REALLY hate photos of my younger self cause it look so awful. It's seriously embarrassing for me, so I am stupidly fussy when it comes to how my hair looks.

i don’t really like it unless you’re using it to keep down pieces of hair that won’t stay down (me lol) or if you’re laying your edges or something

i use it 'cause i like my hair lookin' nice. i don't use lots so i don't get that greasy look, but the tradeoff is that the gel doesn't last very long.
