Hackers, I have a question...

When hacking my town I moved a few rocks around to put them in more convenient places. Since doing this I haven't seen ANY bugs that you get from hitting rocks. Is this something to do with the hack or am I just very unlucky with rock bugs spawning?

I really want to complete my encyclopaedia the normal way so really want to catch the bugs rather than hack them in.

I am NOT a hacker(to late of an update ) but if you can't do it I your town, put a few things in consideration:
Rocks are not supposed to be on the beach. Any rock on the beach may bug out on you
I usually get pill bugs once I hit the money rock the next day(WW)
Millipedes are rarer then pill bugs.
If you have a certain amount of bugs in your town, more can NOT spawn.

It should just be an unlucky coincidence. I think the rock insects tend to spawn fairly infrequently anyway if I recall correctly. Keep trying!!

shouldnt make a difference wherever it is. It's usually quite hard anyway to get bugs so dont worry

I'm not a hacker but I find rock bugs quite rare in my case. I hit the rocks every day but I never get anything. Yesterday I got a millipede though...

Would you believe that as soon as I replied to this thread I went out and caught the pill bug and house centipede within about 2 minutes XD

Urghhh it took me forever to catch a house centipede!! (No hacking involve) T.T I even went to my cycling town and set the date and time to when the bug will possibly appear...still no chance...I guess is all plain unlucky

I think the rock bugs are the only bugs I need for this month. And the scorpion, but I also have September for that. I just caught my first tarantula last night! Good thing I got it before the month ended. Saw 5 tarantulas last night and was able to catch the fifth one. I got bit by the first, third, and fourth ones, and the second one jumped in a river.

Glad you were able to get them if you weren't able to at all, I would of suggested hacking them into your inventory, but I dunno if that adds them into your bug list thing (I can't spell it)
