Hacked items question

No, I'm not asking on how to hack. I just want to get a few replies if there is anything I should be concerned of.

So apparently, there is this one item that is a present that can be opened infinitely. Is there any danger to it, such as giving it to a villager as a present? Or worst case, corrupt my file?

Any regular items that came from the hackers themselves. Should I stay away from items that are generated from the hackers? I heard that hacked flowers don't really give you the hybrids even though you followed the steps.

I'm sorry if I sounded desperate. I've had my town for over three years and I don't want a single hacked item to completely ruin everything!

the infinite present has been sitting outside my train station for some good months. save file never corrupted.

i will say that any item that is only possible through hacking, or any item that seems buggy has a potential risk. if you hack in a golden axe or something, nothing will happen. if you are really cautious, always keep backup files of your town, so if you do corrupt or mess up you're safe.

Hacked flowers are incapable of breeding hybrids, however this is not the case with the bagged ones.
