Now, if someone can tell me why the beta male almost never attacks the alpha male, but the omega male constantly attacks the alpha male for his position in the pack(we're talking about wolves here) I will give them a cookie.

The beta male never attacks the alpha male because he has something to lose, the beta usually gets to eat second and all that other stuff that being second in command gets, so if he were to attack the alpha and lose, he would also lose that extra stuff he gets. The omega male always attacks the alpha because he has nothing to lose, he's the lowest of the pack.

Miranda would never attempt to take storms position of admin unless she was 100% sure she could take it, why? Because if she were to lose the battle, storm would demod her, therefore she losses all of her privileges. Now someone at the low end of the spectrum would try to get storms power because he would have nothing to lose.
