So I've started fresh, after 500+ hours with one Island I've decided that with the new Update coming I wanted to go in an entirely new direction. Picked a new Island with a new name, a completely differwnt layout and set to work,

My first two Islanders were Reneigh (never had a horse before) and Tad, both of which are okay but I'll probably swqp out at some point, I then did the usual stuff, paid off my first couple of house upgrades, got the shop and the Museum building work started and placed my first bridge,

Then last night came setting up my next 3 Islanders homes, rather than leaving the islanders to chance I decided to do a bit of Island hopping and you will never believe what happened next......I visited 3 islands, literally just 3 and the 3 islanders were Erik, Fauna and Audie! Needless to say I took all 3 and am now incredibly excited to see them move in!

Something just feels right and fresh with this new Island and Ive got that buzzing feeling again about getting home from work and playing....

Only a short play last night between jobs but managed to get a fair bit done,

Erik is now in his house, the other two aren't in yet, do they move in a day at a time? Also had a visit from both Saharah and Harv telling me to check out his island.

I built a few of the Ladder starter kits to make climbing around the island easier and then donated a few bits and pieces to the museum. I was pleased to get a Tarantula in there early and I'm not sure how rare but I managed to also donate a Venus Flower Basket and a Snowy Crab from the sea.

I have the weekend off work so going to have a proper sort out over the next couple of days then will post a big update with pictures

Quick update from me,

My resident services is closed today ready to upgrade! All of my villagers are now in and wa dering round and I'm looking forward to building the campsite tomorrow!

I've had a couple of weird things happen today, Mable has come today even tbough she only came yesterday? And Ive planted some fruit trees, spaced apart as usual,half have grown and half haven't which is incredibly weird!

I've made a proper start on my home and it's surroundings and have started clearing areas at the top of my map ready to relocate my shops and Museum in the coming weeks.

I know you have to take the first villager after you build the campsite but after that can you island hop for villagers of your next houses or do you have to take whoever comes?

Loving playing through thid again from the start, I've really got tbe bug again (no pun intended!)

Another day, another update!!

Lots happening today on Gunnstone, for starters my Resident Services is now complete which has allowed me to spend most of the 50,000 Nook Miles I'd build up, First thing I bought was the extra pocket space which will massively come in handy!

Alongside the Resident Services Upgrade I have now managed to build the campsite, which should be ready for tomorrow, I've also paid off my 700k house loan and upgraded to a new floor,

I Have also built a new bridge and moved my Museum from the ridiculous location I chose the first time round!

Perhaps most importantly though, thanks to @BakaRina dropping me off lots of Christmas themed goodies, I now have my house ready for Christmas! I know I'm a tad early but I'm sure time will fly by!

I've got an idea for a Tiki bar I want to build on my beach but I fear it will take a long while to get together all the neccasary bits and peices! Hopefully some lovely person on here will be able to help me out!

Lots gping on today in Gunnstone!

For a start we have our first bridge and the second one being built, that is going to make life a LOT easier getting around,

Secondly, The Museum has now been moved towards the back of the island, currently only accecable via a ladder but my plan is to place an incline tomorrow!

Very exciting news! I've had my 3rd visit from Mable and the Able Sisters is now being built! I have also moved my Nooks Cranny so the two are side by side! This has made me totally rethink my island and I've decided that when possible I'm going to moved all of my Villager homes to the back left of my island.

Lastly, my Campsite has now been built and I dread to think who is coming tomorrow! My Partner restarted her island one day before me and she got Beardo today!

Busy day today on Gunnstone!

First thing this morning I started Island Hopping for my next villager, 65 Islands in I came across Raymond! So he's moving over tomorrow!

I've finished my "Orchard" area, I frustratingly messed up to begin with not realising that the trees needed planting 2 spacez apart not one! But now the have all grown I havd replanted and now have Rows of 10 trees of all available fruit! I havd then planted my first 10 wheat next to them.

My Able Sisters opened today! Nothing of note in there but a fantastic addition to the island sat next to my Nooks Cranny with an ABD between the two, im asuming people visiting my islang can also use the ABD?

Next up Leif is there today, I bought 50 bush starts ready to make a dent in my island designing

I have also put Raymonds house towards the back of the Island and have moved Tads house next door.

I really feel like im getting somewhere now!
