Strange, did anyone notice first time u talk to him the name is gulliver in blue, it then changes to gullivarr in red

I haven’t gotten him yet either! I’m really hoping that he’ll come around this week. In the month and a half that I’ve been playing I’ve only gotten Gulliver once, so I’m just betting that it’s going to take foreeeever to get Gullivarr. I don’t know why but I’m pretty unlucky when it comes to NPC’s At least, I think so lol. I’m not entirely sure how the system works but for now I will wail in the language of self-pity until the animal crossing gods gift me with the presence of the high and mighty King Gullivarr.

I got him randomly today for the first time. I think it’s just a waiting game and he’ll turn up eventually.

Today is the first time I've seen Gullivarrr on my main island (I did not TT there), so that's almost 2 weeks since the update.

I got him for the first time today before this I had gotten regular Gulliver

I got the regular Gulliver last week and Gullivarr yesterday. It took a big of waiting, but that's fine with me. I'm glad he finally decided to visit.

I had Gulliver on monday then got Gullivarr on friday so they both came in the same week which I didn't know could happen

Today’s the first time Pirate Gullivar appeared on my island and last week I had normal Gulliver show up. Hopefully he’ll show up on your island this week!

I thought everybody was going to get him on their island on July 3, but I ended up getting regular old Gulliver instead. And he finally gave me my Tam O'Shanter hat, a few days after someone gave me theirs.

I don’t TT and I haven’t gotten him yet either. If u don’t plan on time traveling then he will show up eventually just gonna have to be patient.
