Ok I decided to turn this thread into my Review of GH:Metallica instead of making a whole new thread.
This game is awesome. I am a huge Metallica fan. I am very impressed with how the game was done. They did really good on the characters. Except for a few minor issues in my opinion:
Lars: What? Lars suddenly grew nearly a full head of hair? His receding hairline has been an issue for quite sometime now. Everyone knows the front of his head is pretty bald. At points, he almost looks like Sting from World Tour. But overall he looks pretty close.
James: Well... James looks pretty good. He is always waving at the crowd. Beginning of songs he yells at the crowd, like in Nothing Else Matters he asks who's going to sing along. I've seen Metallica in concert 9 times so far... And they hit his manurisms head-on. I know that James is kind of built. But they made him nearly as big as Chuck Norris. James is not that built.
Kirk: I think they did Kirk pretty good. I think they made him a little too skinny. And I think his face is slightly off. But overall nice job.
Robert: He looks the best and the closest. I think this is the closest any character has ever looked. Ozzy in World Tour looked almost dead on. But Robert looked even closer to himself. And he moves on stage just like he does when in concert. Does his goofy walk. And his guitar twirl. Amazing job.

Now about the setlist... Overall it is pretty awesome. The Metallica songs are great. I was never a huge fan of Samhain, so I didn't really enjoy playing that song. But the rest was excellent. I think this is the best setlist with the best songs on it out of all the previous games.
The Note Charts
I think the note chart was done pretty good. The game is challenging but at the same time pretty close to how it would be done. I can play tons of Metallica songs on the actual guitar, so I think they captured it pretty well.
I am going to post some video in the next couple days of myself playing. (Just the screen like I did in my 3 world tour videos) The game is great. The fireworks, the flames. The stages. Everything just rocks. If you like Guitar Hero even just a little bit, I suggest you get this game. You will fall in love with Metallica if you aren't already. Also if you like Metallica, this game is a definite must have. All the extras alone make it great. Plus you might find you like GH in the process.
