Guild Wars 2 anyone..?

I'm what you would call a level 80 noob, of sorts. This is my first real MMO so I really have little knowledge of all the details this game has...hehe Like with all the mystic forge stuff and how to get legendary stuff, I have no idea. I've hardly run any dungeons either, what with all the little tricks to deaggro some mobs in certain places, like whoa... I really need someone over mic chat to hold my hand and talk me through everything lol
My bf got me into the game but now he rarely ever plays so I've got no one to play with TT.TT I'm part of a guild but I've never spoken to anyone in it so I don't have any friends there either, and I don't think you can just pm somebody and ask to play together. Especially if they're not even going for the same goals or if the person turns out to be some elitist butt... ;-; They'd hate me lol

Been playing it for a couple of weeks now and it's enjoyable, great active combat system and good looking graphics. Loving the weapon system where it determines your abilities, helps create a bit of variety, especially with the utility slots.

My only problem so far is that i'm finding it impossible to settle on a character, none past 30 yet.
