.... so I loaded up my game this morning. Had done loads of stuff. I'm making a point to chat to all my new villagers as I have quite a few that I didn't get pics from yet and it's one of my in game goals.

Cue Becky telling me that Portia is thinking of moving out! I immediately run over to Portia who doesn't ping me. I empty my pockets, go diving for a bit, sell it all at Re-Tail, go back to Portia.... and she still doesn't ping me.

This was about two hours ago. Portia will you just let me know you're thinking of leaving so I can get you to stay! Grr!

It may take a while... Usually they're in boxes about 5 days after one of you other villagers alerts you, so you've still got time.

sometimes if you talk to them enough times, they'll bring it up in conversation

Maybe save and quit and load up again, run around for a bit and then try to walk by her? Hopefully she pings you soon! :>

I've had a lot of success doing this when a villager stubbornly refuses to ping me. Good luck!

If you haven't talked to her in over a week she won't ping, trying talking to her then restarting you game.

I talk to them all every day. I always make sure to do that. I actually filled a request for her just yesterday as well.
