Does anybody have the slim PS2? If so, has it stopped being able to read discs? I saw there have been some problems with this with other people, and I'm wondering just how widespread it is. Because, yeah, mine only works with playstation one games now. XD It's pretty frustrating, especially since I just got some PS2 games for Christmas. D<

oh wow, i thought it was just the clunky 1st generation ones that had that problem!

this is causing me to rethink whether i want to buy a used or new PS2 (they still sell new ones, i'm hoping, and i don't want to risk PS3 bugs for the kind of price retailers are listing).
