Green Grass!!!

I didn't think I'd be as happy as I am to see the snow go. I love winter, wintery-themed things, snow, ice, etc (though I hated making snowmen so much omg don't even get me started) but seeing everything green, with all my bushes finally uncovered... it was a nice feeling :)

I just started my new town yesterday, and I built a Snowman. (I was hoping to get a perfect Snowboy, but you know... I've never been good at building Snowpeople.) I was surprised when the Snowman was still there when I was resetting for my first move-in! I didn't want him there, though, so when I finally put a tent down, I put it right on top of the Snowman! I was surprised that Tom was able to kill him like that! :O

I switched the game on at 5.59 this morning (didn't plan it this way) and saw the change, I was so excited. I played all seasons in WW but started playing NL in winter, I couldn't wait to see my town with green grass. Now I want to destroy my paths and have a natural town, everything looks so much better.

What a beautiful surprise to open up the game too! I am so happy to have grass and warm colors back, wow. That was my first winter on AC and it was nice, but I am SO READY FOR SPRING.

At first I was disappointed the snow was gone.. then I ran around a bit and luxuriated in the greeness, ahh spring!

The green grass is so beautiful and lush in New Leaf<3 i like winter and the snow, but the town and the flowers, all the colours look so much better with nice grass! But I wish i`d have more snow in real life, we only had snow on 14 days so far, it`s been a very mild winter here.

Glad to see green on my game as I gaze out my window here at home to falling snow and at least a couple feet of the white stuff already on the ground.

I love winter. I really do, and I even liked how my town looked covered in snow, but I started my town in November and its so nice seeing all my hard work against green finally. I didn't think I'd feel so glad to see it, but it is so nice!

(I don't agree that I want the snow to stop in real life yet though... this winter hasn't been as good for my area as I like, I hope its not over yet)
