Selling Green feather

I think that selling a feather for that high prize when it's fair time it's not a good idea.
 
I guess this is the one you won in a Giveaway, don't you feel honour bound to keep it for a while?
 
You won this in a giveaway, and now you're selling it for money...? You should really keep it. We don't wanna give you money for something you got for free. Just sayin'

It was nice that PrayingMantis10 did the giveaway. I think it's super awesome that we have such a great community with great groups of people. I don't see anything wrong with selling a giveaway item. The OP won it, but I do think it's questionable that some people in this community is using an illegal way to get their IGB then using the hacked bells to buy BTB. Now, that's unethical.

I can see what you mean. But its the thought that went into the item, the giveaway, etc. When someone gives you something, no matter how big or small, nor cheap or expensive...you cherish it in some way. If someone gave me something like that, I would never sell it. It would feel wrong. If you gave someone a gift with meaning, that person turns around and sells it... At least without letting you know. It bites.

Them feathers are not cheap.

Just.... sigh...

I have to agree with Chibi.Hoshi on this. It is kinda improper to sell or trade a gift you have received. We can just say it. The choice to continue or not is up to the topic starter.

When someone hosts a Giveaway, especially with a sought after item, their intention is to give a person who really wants that item a chance to own it. It is upsetting when Giveaway item is not valued by winner and subsequently sold for a quick buck. It also has a backlash effect of making people wonder whether it is worthwhile to host future giveaway events.

I gave away a collectible once and the person just sold it. I mean, it wasn't any of my business since it was theirs since they won it but I just thought since that person entered the giveaway, they would of actually wanted it and would keep it. After I saw the selling thread, I felt really disappointed.

Anyway sorry just had to let that out lmao
